Working on a year-end post as well, but given the way things have been, I'll have to spend more time on the phone with Adobe's tech support (ah, activation codes, a foolproof way to beat piracy and keep your customers happy...not). It might stagger in sometime tomorrow morning, lampshade draped precariously over its pointy little head.

Going on a family vacation (that probably couldn't come at a worse time, really) over the next week. I shall essay to continue posting pages over that time.

Oh, and word to the wise. Never, ever try to launch publicity for a book over the holidays. Ever. Stupid, stupid holidays.

Two story pages up, which will grow to 6 by the end of the week, with new pages every day as my holiday-infested schedule allows. The plan is to post the first (of five) chapters to give readers a taste of the book so they know what they're pre-ordering.
