Murder Moon Preview - Collected

I figure a few folks may be making their way over from business cards and such handed out in Baltimore, so a quick bump to the top of the page here.

Still working on the serialization of THE THIRSTY. Think there's a new development that should be very interesting, but I won't specify just yet. You'll be sure to hear when things are set, though. Jus' hold tight a tetch.

The Thirsty - Animated preview

Looks like this:

Take a look, leave comments if you like.

Strangeways - The Thirsty

Greetings, everyone. Let's make this the official announcement for the next Strangeways graphic novel, shall we?

Strangeways: The Thirsty is coming. It's written, save for about ten pages. Overall, the art is about two-thirds done, minus the bonus stuff, which I haven't had time to organize just yet. I've run the first three pages of art along with the original script at my personal blog, Highway 62, but I'll collect all the links for easy consumption, if you haven't seen 'em yet.

Note that I reserve the right to change the dialogue upon my whims, but it seems pretty solid right now. And if you think you recognize the artist, you do. Gervasio and Jok, who provided the artwork for the backup feature "Lone" from Murder Moon, have returned to do the main story this time around. Fans of Luis Guaragna will be happy to know that his work will be represented, too, in the form of the second feature "Red Hands", which will likely not be serialized on the web, but for a teaser.

I can't yet announce a date of print publication, other than "next year", hopefully in the early summer if not a touch before. My ongoing plans for web serialization have proven to be rocky. I'd certainly welcome someone else hosting it, all other things being equal, but finding a group that I mesh with whether it be in terms of content or whatever. May end up doing it myself (and have been encouraged to take that step: just as much as other folks have encouraged me to join a collective.) The idea was to run the entirety of The Thirsty on the web before the print edition. We shall see if it actually comes to pass.

I'm in the process of uploading a preview animation based on these art pages as well. There will be a post when it comes to pass.
